Side Sill Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing: Notes

NOTE:
The following describes the removal and installation of the rocker panel extension on the left side. The right side is identical.
The rocker panel extension cannot be removed without damaging it.
-- Remove the expanding clip -4- from the side sill.
-- Use the :VAS1978/14A to warm up the rocker panel extension -1- near the adhesive tape -7-.
-- Pull the rocker panel extension -1- upward out of the retaining strip -6- in the direction of the -arrow-.
