Rear Muffler
- Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION
- Refer to REAR MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TORSION BEAM AXLE
Bolt
- 25 Nm
- Replace after removing.
Separating Point
- Separating location for repairing
- Identified on exhaust pipe by an impression
- Cut the exhaust pipe at a right angle at the separating point using the Body Saw: VAG1523A or Chain Pipe Cutter: VAS6254 . Refer to CLAMPING SLEEVE INSTALLATION POSITION .
Center Muffler
- Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION
Bolt
- 25 Nm
- Replace after removing.
- Exhaust system bracket to body
Bolt
- 25 Nm
- Replace after removing.
- Front tensioning strap to body
- Center muffler bracket to body
Rear Tunnel Brace
- Removing and installing. Refer to TUNNEL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CONVERTIBLE) .
Nuts
- Tunnel Brace
- Refer to TUNNEL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CONVERTIBLE) .
Clamping Sleeve
- Refer to CLAMPING SLEEVE INSTALLATION POSITION
Mounting Strap
- Fuel tank to body
Bracket
- Replace if damaged
