Engine, Securing To Engine And Transmission Holder

Procedure

The transmission is separated from the engine. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING .

-- Engage the :2024A onto the engine and onto the :VAS6100 .

NOTE:

To be aligned to the center of gravity of the engine assembly, the rail with holes for the lifting hook must be inserted as shown.

-- Lower the engine from the :VAS6931 using the :VAS6100 .

-- Secure the mounting hooks and pins on the engine support bridge using connector locks -arrow-.

-- Secure the transmission side of the engine to the :VAS6095A as shown.
