Rear Lid Lock, Removing And Installing, Convertible: Removing

NOTE:

If the rear lid does not open, use the emergency release -4- through the rear lid trim panel or use the release cable. Refer to the Owner's Manual.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL (CONVERTIBLE) .

-- Unclip the release cable from the emergency release -4-.

-- Disconnect the connector on the rear lid latch -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and the rear lid latch -3- from the rear lid.
