Gas-Filled Strut, Venting

-- Clamp the gas-filled strut in a vise in the area -x- = 50 mm.

WARNING:

Only clamp the gas strut in area -x-. Otherwise, an accident may occur.

Wear protective eyewear when sawing.

-- Cut open the gas-filled strut cylinder within the first third of the total cylinder length from the edge on the piston rod side.

NOTE:

Cover the area of the separated portion with a clean rag.

Dispose of the oil and cleaning cloths properly.
