Actuator, Removing And Installing: Removing

For Sedan Only

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL .

For Convertible Only

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL (CONVERTIBLE) .

-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the mechanism -2-.

-- If equipped, disconnect the connector for the Rearview Camera -R189- from the operating cable -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Turn the mechanism -2- in direction of -arrow a- until the hook -4- comes out from behind the trim -5-.

-- Pull the water drain hose -6- off the mechanism -2- in direction of -arrow b- and remove the mechanism.
