Actuator, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Connect the water drain hose -6- to the mechanism -2- in direction of -arrow a- and install the rear lid.

-- Turn the mechanism in direction of the -arrow b- until the hook -4- hooks in behind the trim -5-.

-- Install the bolts -3- and tighten.

-- Connect the connector -1- to the mechanism -2-.

-- If equipped, connect the connector for the Rearview Camera -R189- to the operating cable -2-.

NOTE:

Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.

For Sedan Only

-- Install the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL .

For Convertible Only

-- Install the rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL (CONVERTIBLE) .
