Disconnecting the Release Cable Coupling

-- Open the hood.

-- Unclip the release cable coupling -1- from the bracket -2- above the headlamp on the driver side.

-- Pull the release cable -1- slightly out of the release cable coupling -2- in direction of -arrow a-.

-- Open the release cable coupling -2- in direction of -arrow b- at the same time.

-- Move the release cable -1- in direction of the -arrow c- and remove it from the release cable coupling -2- in direction of -arrow d-.
