Selector Shaft Seal, Replacing: Installing

-- Coat the outer edge and sealing lips of the seal with ATF.

Installation position: open side of the seal faces toward the transmission housing.

-- Use the : T10174 to install the new seal until it stops. Do not tilt the seal while doing so.

-- Install the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-. Refer to MULTIFUNCTION TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
