Vehicles with Refrigerant R134a

-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, DISCHARGING WITH A/C Service Station .

Vehicles with Refrigerant R1234yf

-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to the appropraite service information .

CAUTION:

Danger or frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Extract refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

- If more than 10 minutes elapse after extracting the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, extract the refrigerant again. Evaporation can cause pressure to develop in the refrigerant circuit.

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left front air duct. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the dryer cartridge -4- bracket -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -5-.

-- Remove the dryer cartridge -1- in the direction of -arrow B- from the lock carrier -2- at the same time turn the radiator for the coolant with the condenser slightly in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Seal the dryer cartridge and condenser using : VAS6122 .
