Recirculation Door Motor -V113-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

As a replacement part, the Recirculation Door Motor -V113- is delivered in the "fresh air mode" position. The gear -1- can only be connected to the gear for the fresh/recirculating air door when it is resting at the stop -2-. If an adjustment motor was removed in a different position or activated while it was removed, then it cannot be installed.

If the gear -1- for the Recirculation Door Motor -V113- is not at the stop -2- "fresh air mode", then proceed as follows:

-- Connect the adjustment motor to the wiring harness.

-- Wait until the gear -1- for the Recirculation Door Motor -V113- has reached the "fresh air mode" stop -2-.

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Reach into intake opening for recirculating air mode and move the fresh/recirculating air door -3- into the "fresh air mode" position (intake opening for recirculating air mode is closed).

-- Position the Recirculation Door Motor -V113- -4- in the opposite direction of the -arrow- on the mounts on the air intake duct -2-.

NOTE:

The short tooth -5- must align with the short space between the teeth -4-, so that the gear -2- for the Recirculation Door Motor -V113- -1- can be slid onto the gear -3- for the fresh/recirculating air door.

-- Initiate the basic setting function. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- After installation and the basic setting is successfully performed, check the function.
