Defroster Door Motor -V107-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the driver side footwell vent. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the nuts -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -4-.

-- Remove the bracket -5- from the heater and A/C unit -2- and from the instrument panel central tube -3-.

NOTE:

When removing the bracket -5- depending on vehicle equipment the instrument panel central tube -3- may have to be loosened.

-- Disconnect the connector -5- from the Defroster Door Motor -V107- -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -4-.

-- Loosen the connecting rod -2- at the top of the defroster door.

-- Remove the Defroster Door Motor -V107- -1- and the connecting rod -2- from the heater and A/C unit.

-- Disconnect the adjusting lever -3- for the Defroster Door Motor -V107- -1- from the connecting rod -2-.
