Belt Pulley, Removing And Installing, DENSO: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Remove locking ring -A-.

-- Clean A/C compressor flange before sliding on ribbed belt pulley.

-- When installing  locking ring -A-, note that it cannot be bent open more than is necessary for installation.

-- Install the ribbed belt pulley -B-.

-- Insert the side circlip -A- the side with the insertion edge -C- faces away from A/C compressor.

-- Insert rubber elements -D- in ribbed belt pulley -B-.

-- Insert drive plate -C- far enough into rubber elements -D- until it contacts A/C compressor shaft -B-.

-- Screw drive plate -C- onto compressor shaft -F- by rotating in direction of arrow -B-.

-- Install the cover and the locking ring -A-. Refer to -item  - OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR - list item: Cover with Locking Ring.

-- Install the shaft cap. Refer to -item  - OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR - list item: Cap.
