Lower Transverse Link, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Insert the lower transverse link in the vehicle and tighten the bolts by hand.

The Transverse Link Threaded Connection Can Only Be Made When the Dimension "a" is Achieved. Refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, REAR AXLE, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .

-- Connect the upper transverse link to the subframe and tighten the new nut -arrow- to the tightening specification only.

-- Observe the mark made -arrow- to indicate the location of the centering bolt in relation to the subframe.

Vehicles with Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76-

-- Install the bolts -1- to the lower transverse link.

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Tighten bolt -arrow- for lower transverse link -1-.

-- Install the coil spring. Refer to SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the wheel and tighten. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .

-- Perform an axle alignment. Refer to AXLE ALIGNMENT .
