Front Upper Fender

Removing

NOTE:

The following describes removing and installing the upper front fender. Removing and installing upper front fender is identical.

-- Loosen the front wheel housing liner in the rear section.

-- Remove the noise insulation bar piece, if equipped, from the wheel housing. Refer to -Item ) OVERVIEW - FENDER - Brace Noise Insulation.

-- Remove the fender end plate. Refer to Front Fender End Plate .

-- Remove the corresponding plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Carefully remove the front upper fender -1- in the direction of the -arrow-.

Installing

Install the front upper fender -1- in reverse order of removal.

-- Note the parallel alignment and gap dimensions. Refer to Body Gap Dimensions; Body Front .
