-- Disconnect the ground cable to the Battery -A- when the ignition is switched off. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

Vehicles With Air Filter Over The Starter -B-

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [DDSA, DDSB] (CONVERTIBLE) or AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA] (CONVERTIBLE) .

Vehicles Without An Air Filter Over The Starter -B-

-- Loosen the spring clamp -1- and remove the air duct hose.

-- Unclip the air duct upper section -2- and remove it.

-- Unclip and remove the air duct lower section.

-- If equipped remove the nut -1- from the Starter -B- upper bolt.

-- If equipped remove the ground cable -2-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the cap -2-.

-- Remove the nuts -3-, and terminal 30/B+.

-- Remove the nut -4- and remove the wiring harness bracket -1-.

-- Remove the Starter -B- -3- bolts -2 and 5-.

-- Remove the Starter -B- -3- downward.
