Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 6-Gear Dual-Clutch Transmission: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable to the Battery -A- when the ignition is switched off. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [DDSA, DDSB] (CONVERTIBLE) or AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA] (CONVERTIBLE) .
-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to .
-- If equipped remove the nut -2- from the Starter -B- -1- lower bolt.
-- If equipped remove the ground cable -3-.
-- Remove the Starter - B- -1- bolt -4-.
-- Release and disconnect the connector -3-.
-- Remove the cap -4-.
-- Remove the nut -5- and terminal 30/B+.
-- Remove the bolt -1- for the Starter -B- -2-.
-- Remove the Starter -B- -2- upward.
