B-Pillar Trim, Detaching And Attaching

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Loosening

-- Remove the cover -1- with the : 3409 .

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the cap -2- and remove the retaining loop -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Detach the trim panel from the door seal molding.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- from the side trim panel -arrows-.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- from the side B-pillar mounting -2-.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- from the upper mount.

Securing

NOTE:

Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary before installing. Replace any damaged components.

Make sure that the trim panel is inside the door seal molding after installing.

-- Install in reverse order of removal.

Tightening Specifications

Component	Tightening Specification
Bolt for retaining loop	2 Nm
Bolt for B-pillar trim	2 Nm
