Roof Reinforcement, Attaching To Body: Removing

-- Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Cut the roof insulation/reinforcements -1- into strips approximately 6 cm wide -4- with a carpet knife, moving in the direction of travel.

-- Remove the strips -4- from the roof.

-- Cut back the excess adhesive -2- using the : VAG1561A and the : VAG1561/20 -3-.

NOTE:

If paint structure was damaged while removing roof insulation/reinforcements, paint damage must be repaired.
