Refrigerant Circuit Seals

- Replace the O-rings after removing them.
- Coat the O-rings with refrigerant oil before installing.
- Make sure the O-rings are positioned correctly on the pipe or in the groove.
- Ensure cleanliness when working. Even the smallest contaminant, a hair for example, can cause a leak.
- Only install O-rings that are resistant to refrigerant R134a or R1234yf and the corresponding refrigerant oil. These O-rings are color-coded to eliminate the risk of interchanging. Refer to appropriate service information.
- In addition to the color-coded O-rings, black O-rings are also installed at the factory for certain connections.
The dimensions -a and b- are different depending on the component location of the O-ring. Refer to the appropriate service information.
