Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Suction Feed Spray Gun :VAG1538 together with Suction Feed Spray Gun - Probe for Evaporator (Straight) :VAG1538/5 or Suction Feed Spray Gun - Probe for Evaporator (Curved) :VAG1538/6
- Ultrasound A/C Cleaner :VAS6189B
- If unpleasant odors come out of the ventilation, the evaporator must be cleaned.
- For cleaning the evaporator, Volkswagen has tested and approved the :VAS6189B as well as the :VAG1538 with a suitable spray lance.
- Cleaning instructions are provided with the tools.
