-- Remove the side trim panel, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Remove the trim from the convertible top compartment, refer to DECORATIVE TRIM AND COVERS OVERVIEW => Convertible Top Compartment Trim Strip .

-- Remove the inner door seal near the side window and front bolt -2-, refer to INNER DOOR SEAL, CONVERTIBLE .

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the intermediate plate -1- and foam piece -3-.

NOTE:

The side window -2- lines up when the door window -1- is adjusted correctly.

It should be at the same height and aligned with the door window.

-- Loosen the screws -4- and adjust the height of the side window so that it is even with the door window.

-- Adjust the gap for the door window parallel to dimension -a-.

Dimension -a- = 9.0 mm ± 1 mm

-- Perform a functionality test and check the adjustment with the convertible top open and closed.

-- Assemble is reverse order of disassembly.
