Rear Seat Backrest Cover And Cushion, Sedan: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to SEAT BENCH/SINGLE SEAT .

CAUTION:

Do not press the rear seat backrests onto the center back rest mounting! To prevent damage to the back rest cover, place a foam piece or similar material between the back rest mounting and the back rest!

-- Remove the luggage compartment carpet. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR PANEL .

-- Remove the rear dual seat belt latch. Refer to REAR BELT LATCH .

-- Remove the C-pillar trim. Refer to C-PILLAR TRIM .

-- Remove side trim. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL, SEDAN .

-- Fold the side luggage compartment trim panel toward the rear.

-- Back rest, Removing, Sedan, refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, SEDAN

-- Back rest, Removing, Convertible, refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, SEDAN

-- Remove the rear right trim panel -1- beginning at the bottom with the Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-- Push the Release Lever -2- forward all the way and hold it in position.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- from the release with the Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-- Remove the trim panel -1- toward the rear.

-- Remove the left trim panel in the same way that the right trim panel was removed.

-- Remove headrest guides. Refer to HEADREST GUIDE .

-- Remove the outer trim -1- for the TOP Tether using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409 -2-.

-- Disengage the left back rest on front part of cover -1- from clamping strip on rear of cover -2-.

-- Disengage the right back rest on the front part of cover from the clamping strip on the rear of cover, as shown.

-- Open the zippers on the side.

-- Releases the bands on the side and push them through the frame.

-- Remove the cover and upholstery from the back rest frame.
