Rear Seat Backrest Cover And Cushion, Convertible: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to SEAT BENCH/SINGLE SEAT .

CAUTION:

Do not press the rear seat backrests onto the center back rest mounting! To prevent damage to the back rest cover, place a foam piece or similar material between the back rest mounting and the back rest!

-- Remove the luggage compartment carpet. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR PANEL .

-- Remove the rear dual seat belt latch. Refer to REAR BELT LATCH .

-- Remove side trim. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL, CONVERTIBLE .

-- Remove the rear seat back rest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, CONVERTIBLE .

-- Remove headrest guides. Refer to HEADREST GUIDE .

-- Remove the outer trim -1- for the upper tether using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409 -2-.

-- Remove the clip -1- from the rear seat back rest using Window Release Tool T10236 -2-.

-- Disengage the left back rest on front part of cover -1- from clamping strip on rear of cover -2-.

-- Disengage the right back rest on the front part of cover from the clamping strip on the rear of cover, as shown.

-- Open the zippers on the side.

-- Releases the bands on the side and push them through the frame.

-- Remove the cover and upholstery from the back rest frame.
