Accessory Bracket: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT .

-- Remove the generator. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Disconnect the connector from the oil pressure switch or from the oil pressure switches.

-- Disconnect the solenoid clutch electrical connector -1- from the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor.

WARNING:

Risk of injury from refrigerant:

Do not open the A/C refrigerant circuit.

-- Remove the A/C compressor bolts -arrows-.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the refrigerant lines and hoses:

Do not stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.

-- Secure the compressor with the refrigerant lines attached to the longitudinal member.

-- Remove the oil dipstick guide tube bolt -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -5 through 1- and remove the accessory bracket from the coolant pump housing.
