Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-: Removing

Engine is cold.

-- Briefly open the coolant reservoir cap -1- in direction of -arrow- to reduce the residual pressure in the coolant system.

-- Remove the air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the clamp -2-, and remove the air guide pipe -1-.

-- Remove the cable bracket from the transmission. .

-- Free up the wiring harness -1-.

-- Remove the nut -4- an bolts -2, 3-.

-- Push the left coolant pipe slightly to the left.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the double bolt -2- and the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - G62-.

NOTE:

Pry out a O-ring or spacer ring stuck in the cylinder head using a drift.
