Coolant Thermostat Housing: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the coolant line from the intake manifold.

-- Remove the coolant pump, refer to Removing .

-- Remove the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-, refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -J338- .

-- Lift clamps -1- and -2- and remove coolant hoses.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 3- underneath the intake manifold.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the bracket -A-.

-- Remove the connector -arrow- from the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- -1-.

-- Remove the nut -3- and remove the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- -1- from the bracket -2-.

-- Push the generator wire aside and remove the bolt -3- on the thermostat housing.

-- Remove the remaining bolts -1- through -5-.

-- Remove the thermostat housing from the centering pins and remove the engine oil cooler.
