Coolant Pump Toothed Belt: Removing

-- Drain the coolant, refer to Draining .

-- Remove right front wheel housing liner, refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -3- and -5-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31- -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -4- and then remove the air guide pipe downward.

-- Lift the clamp -2-, remove the coolant supports and set them aside.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the air guide pipe by lifting the clamps -2- and opening the hose clamp -3-.

-- Counterhold the vibration damper with the Counterhold - Vibration Damper T10355.

-- Counterhold the vibration damper and remove the bolt from the coolant pump the drive wheel -1- by loosening three turns. Use Torque Wrench 1410 VAG 1410 and Torque Wrench 1331 Insert - Ring Wrench - 12 mm T10360.
