SUBFRAME Mount, Adjusting: Notes

-- Support the engine with the transmission but do not lift it, refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLED POSITION .

-- Replace the subframe mount bolts -1, 3, and 5- one after the other (if the was not already performed with the engine was installed) and hand tighten.

-- Replace the subframe mount bolts -2- one after the other (if the was not already performed with the engine was installed) and hand tighten.

-- Install the left and right support arm bolts just enough so that it is possible to move the mount.

Between engine support and right longitudinal member, there must be clearance -a- = 10 mm.

The casting edge on the engine support must be parallel to the support arm -1- ; dimension -b- must be the same at the front and at the rear.

-- The edges on the support arm -2- and transmission mount -1- are parallel on the transmission side.

Dimension -x- same size on both sides of bracket.

-- Tighten subframe mount bolts.

Install in reverse order of removal.
