Tightening Specifications

Bolts	Tightening specification
-Arrows-	8 Nm

CAUTION: A second technician is needed to mount the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A on the vehicle to prevent the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A from tipping.

Mount the engine support bridge on the engine/transmission sub-assembly as follows.

-- First slide the Moveable Joints T40091/3 onto the Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 410-222A/4 from the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A.

The bolts for the Moveable Joints T40091/3 face in the direction of travel -as shown-.

-- Connect the Adapter 10-222A/31-1 and the Adapter 10-222A/31-2 with the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A -as shown- but do not tighten them yet.

-- Position the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A on the suspension strut tower and have a second technician secure it so it does not tip.

-- Slide the Square Pipe T40091/1 at the left and right through the Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 2810-222A/28 from the front.

-- Before connecting with the rear Engine Support Bridge 10-222A, slide a Moveable Joint T40093/4 onto each and connect with the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A.

-- Slide a Rail with Holes T40091/2 through a Moveable Joint T40093/4 and position both Mounts T40093/5.

-- Guide the Rail with Holes T40091/2 through the second Engine Support Brackets T40093/3-4.

-- Insert the locking pin -1- in the Rail with holes T40091/2 -as shown - and secure with cotter pins.

-- Tighten all threaded connections on the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A hand-tight. Adjust the height of the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A parallel over the Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 2810-222A/28.

-- Insert the Engine Support Bridge - Spindles 10-222A/11 as shown, connect with the engine/transmission assembly and tighten slightly, but do not lift.
