Oil Pan: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation under the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Place the Drip Tray for Workshop Crane VAS6208 or used oil collection and extraction device V.A.G 1782 under the transmission.

-- Remove the ATF check plug -A-.

-- Remove the overflow pipe -C- and drain any remaining ATF.

-- Loosen and tighten the bolts on the ATF pan -arrows- diagonally.

NOTE:

Some residual ATF will remain in the ATF pan.

-- Remove the ATF pan with the ATF pan seal.
