Clutch Release Mechanism Overview

- Transmission
- To remove and install the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING .
- Ball Stud
- 25 Nm
- To remove and install, remove the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING .
- Remove any grease from the clutch release lever contact surfaces.
- Grease using Clutch Disc Spline Grease G 000 100.
- Input Shaft Seal
- To remove and install, remove the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING .
- Replacing, refer to -item 12- in the TRANSMISSION HOUSING AND CLUTCH HOUSING .
- Guide Sleeve
- To remove and install, remove the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING
- With a vulcanized O-ring.
- Replace the guide sleeve and O-ring if the O-ring is damaged.
- Spring
- To remove and install, remove the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING
- Attached to the clutch release lever.
- Bolt
- 20 Nm
- Quantity: 3
- Clutch Release Lever
- To remove and install, remove the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING
- Remove and install together with the release bearing, refer to CLUTCH RELEASE MECHANISM, SERVICING .
- Remove any grease already present.
- Grease the ball stud contact surface with Clutch Disc Spline Grease G 000 100.
- Release Bearing
- To remove and install, remove the transmission, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING
- Do not wash the bearing, just wipe it off.
- Replace loud bearings.
- Removing and installing the clutch release lever, refer to CLUTCH RELEASE MECHANISM, SERVICING .
- Lubricate the release lever contact surfaces with Clutch Disc Spline Grease G 000 100.
- Bolt
- 20 Nm
- For the clutch slave cylinder.
- Clutch Slave Cylinder
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER .
- Plunger
- Grease the plunger head with Clutch Disc Spline Grease G 000 100.
- Bolt
- Secures the clutch release lever when installing the transmission.
- Remove after installing the transmission.
- Use a M8 x 35 bolt if the assembly bolt is missing.
