Lower Control Arm, On Left Side, Vehicles With DSG Or Automatic Transmission: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the rear control arm into the subframe in direction of -arrow- and swivel it forward.

NOTE:

Make sure the ball joint boot is not damaged or twisted.

-- Install the subframe brace -1-. Refer to SUBFRAME BRACE .

-- Install the right and left underbody panels. Refer to UNDERBODY PANELS OVERVIEW .

-- Install the lower noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION OVERVIEW .

-- Install the front wheel and tighten the bolts. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
