Vane Pump: Removing

WARNING:

For all repair work, especially in the engine compartment due to the tight working conditions, observe the following:

Route lines of all types (for example for fuel, hydraulic, EVAP canister system, coolant and refrigerant, brake fluid, vacuum) correctly. The original path must be followed.
Make sure to allow sufficient clearance for all moving or hot components.

-- Clamp off suction and return hose on the power steering fluid reservoir.

Hose Clamps up to 25 mm Diameter 3094

-- Loosen the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the ribbed belts. Refer to [For engine(s) CPRA, CPKA, CPLA, CPPA] Removal and Installation or [For engine(s) CVCA] Removal and Installation or [For engine(s) CCTA, CBFA] Removal and Installation or [For engine(s) CBUA] Removal and Installation or [For transmission(s) 02E, 02Q] [For engine(s) CVCA, CJAA] Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the belt pulley -1-.

-- Remove the nut -1- and the pressure line from the power steering pump.

-- Open spring clamp and pull suction hose -2- off the power steering pump.

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and remove power steering pump -1- from retainer.
