Vehicles With Manual Transmission: Procedure

-- Observe safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Follow repair instructions. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .

Engine/transmission assembly removed and mounted on Engine/Gearbox Jack - Engine Support T10359.

-- Remove the starter. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Disconnect all electrical connections from the transmission to the engine and free them up.

-- Mount the transmission to the Shackles 10-222 A/12 using the Shop Crane VAS 6100 but do not lift it.

-- Remove the upper engine/transmission connecting bolts.

-- Support the transmission using a Shop Crane VAS 6100 and remove the last bolts.

-- Remove the lower engine/transmission connecting bolts.

-- Separate the transmission from the engine; when doing this, guide the transmission.
