Front Bumper Cover: Removing

NOTE: Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures of front bumper cover, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

For Convertible Only

-- Remove noise insulation, refer to NOISE INSULATION OVERVIEW, CONVERTIBLE .

For All Vehicles

-- Remove the front trim, refer to RADIATOR GRILLE/FRONT TRIM .

-- Remove the front wheel housing liner from the front bumper.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -3- inside the wheel housing (facing up).

-- Remove the bolts -4- from underneath.

-- Remove the bolts -2- from above.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

-- Pull the front bumper cover -1- out of the guides on the left and right sides of the fender in direction of -arrows a-.

-- Remove the front bumper cover -1- from the striker pin in the mount next to the left and right headlamp.

-- Remove the front bumper cover in direction of -1- -arrows b- from the vehicle. A second technician is needed for this.

-- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.
