Assembly Instructions For Bonding Name Badges

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Hot Air Blower VAG1416
- Adhesive Strip Remover VAS6349
Assembly Information
- It is not possible to remove a name plate or brand emblem without damaging it.
- Warm the name badge or emblem before removing using the Hot Air Blower VAG1416.
- If necessary, remove any adhesive residue using the Adhesive Strip Remover VAS6349 and the adhesive remover
- If installing a name badge or emblem for the first time on newly painted surfaces, follow the procedure described in Paint Repair Service Information.
- Make sure there is no dust or grease on the adhesive surfaces.
- Install the name plate or emblem immediately after cleaning.
- Peel off the backing on the name badge or emblem just before installing it.
- The temperature must be approximately 21 °C (70 °F).
