Side Adjusting Buffer, Adjusting

-- Unclip the cap -1- from the adjusting buffer -3-.

-- Slightly loosen the bolt -2- on the adjusting buffer -3- until the adjusting buffer moves easily.

-- Slide the adjusting buffer -3- in the direction of -arrow- until it stops.

-- Carefully press the middle of the rear lid at the lower end of the rear window -arrow- shut until in the initial locking position.

-- Open the rear lid again.

-- Tighten the bolt -2-.

-- Unclip the cap -1- from the adjusting buffer -3-.

Adjustment, Checking

-- Lay a sheet of paper between the contact surface for the rear lid and the side adjusting buffers.

-- Close the rear lid and pull on the paper -arrow-.

• The sheet of paper must catch and must not have any play.

-- Check the adjustment of the 3 other adjusting buffers in the same way.

-- If the sheet of paper can be pulled out from an adjusting buffer, adjust that buffer again.
