Rear Seat Backrest Locking Mechanism, Convertible: Removing

-- Pull the Release Lever -1- and release the backrest.

-- Pull and hold the Release Lever -1- and remove the pin -arrow- from the expanding rivet.

-- Pry out and remove the rear backrest release control -2- using the Trim Removal Wedge3409.

-- Disconnect the release cable -1- from the backrest release -2- in direction of -arrow- .

-- Disengage the ball stud -1- on the release cable -arrow- and remove the rear backrest release -2- .
