Front Seat Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Adjusting

The following conditions must be met to adjust the release cable:
- The upholstery must be removed from the seat and backrest and they must be bolted to each other.
- The entry assistance release cable B must be engaged at the backrest and on the lower seat frame.
- In order to adjust the release cable correctly, move the backrest all the way to the front position using the hand wheel.
- The adjustment is only performed on the inside of the vehicle on the tunnel side of the seat.
Checking and Correcting
-- Determine the distance between the retaining straps with a feeler gauge -1- , -2- , -3- and -4- and the circuit board -5- .
The adjustment is done correctly if each of the dimensions are between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm.
If the test is not successful:
-- Adjustment is done using knurled nuts.
NOTE:
A locked release cable cannot be readjusted and must be replaced.
