Oil Supply Line To Turbocharger: Installing

CAUTION:

Make sure the connecting pipe decoupling element does not bend or stretch. Cracks could develop.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Check the oil supply line for clearance.

-- Fill the turbocharger with engine oil at the connection for oil supply line.

The additional numbered steps must be followed to ensure the oil supply line is installed correctly:

-- Mount the oil supply line union nuts on the connections.

-- Tighten the union nuts on the oil filter bracket hand-tight.

-- Tighten the union nuts on the turbocharger hand-tight.

-- Tighten the union nuts on the oil filter bracket first using socket T40055 and then the union nuts on the turbocharger.

-- Mount the clamp -arrow- and tighten the bolt and nut.
