Oil Pan Lower Section: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION OVERVIEW .

-- Drain the engine oil.

NOTE:

Observe disposal regulations!

-- Remove mounting bolts.

-- Press the oil pan lower section off at the tabs -arrows- on the upper section. Be careful not to damage sealing surfaces in the process.

-- Replace the oil pan lower section if damaged.
