Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Free up the fuel return hose -1-.

-- Open the hose clamps -arrows-, and unclip and remove the catch -2-.

-- Before removing clean the threaded area around the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- for example using commercially available coolant.

Dirt must not get into the high pressure reservoir opening.
Clean carefully, cleaner must not enter the connector.

-- Dry the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Loosen the union nut -1-, to do so counter hold on the hex on the high pressure reservoir. Then remove it by hand.

-- Suction any dirt out of the hole in the high pressure reservoir, the threads and the sealing surface. Do not use mechanical tools.

-- Close open high pressure reservoir connections using clean blind plugs.
