Windshield Wiper Protectors, Version 2, Removing

-- With the engine hood closed, switch the ignition on and off briefly.

-- Within 10 seconds after switching off the ignition, move the windshield wiper lever downward to the mist wipe position.

Move the wiper into the service position.

-- Lift the wiper arm off the glass.

CAUTION:

Do not hold the wiper blade to prevent damage.

-- As shown in the figure, pull the protective rail upward and off the wiper blade.

-- Carefully place the wiper arm back on the windshield.

-- Move the windshield wipers back into the park position by switching the ignition on and tapping the wiper lever. Turn off the ignition.
