Subassembly Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamps -3 and 5-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31- -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 4- and then remove the air duct pipe downward.

-- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove right front wheel housing liner. Refer FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING to .

-- Cover the radiator with a suitable materials to prevent damage.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the air duct pipe by lifting the clamps -2- and opening the hose clamp -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector from the A/C compressor.

-- Remove A/C compressor bolts and remove the A/C compressor with attached refrigerant lines from the subassembly bracket.

-- Remove the intake manifold bracket by removing the mounting nut -1- and bolt -2-.

-- Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the cable bracket -arrows- for the lower Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428- -2- from the subassembly bracket and engine.

-- Disconnect the connectors on the Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428- -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrow- for the Oil Pressure Switch -F1- -3-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrow- for the Reduced Oil Pressure Switch -F378- -2-.

-- Remove the oil filter element. Refer to ENGINE OIL, DRAINING OR EXTRACTING; REPLACING OIL FILTER AND FILLING ENGINE OIL .

NOTE:

Ignore item -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- for the oil dipstick tube.

Unclip the guide tube from the upper cover for the timing chain in direction of -arrow-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Place the : VAS6208  under engine.

NOTE:

The bolts -1 through 5- are various lengths.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 5-. Remove the subassembly bracket from the coolant pump housing.
