Rear Muffler, Removing And Installing, Multi-Link Suspension: Installing

NOTE:

A second technician is required for tightening the rear clamping sleeve (repair clamping sleeve).

-- Secure the front muffler in the mounts. The front clamp remains loosely connected to pipes.

-- Align the rear muffler horizontally and hold it in this position.

-- Position the rear clamping sleeve with both outer markings and tighten.

-- Align the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .

Cabriolet 

-- Install the subframe crossbrace -3-. Refer to TENSION STRUTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CONVERTIBLE) CROSSBRACERear Axle .
