Temperature Door Release Cable: Removing

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Remove the display control head front section. Refer to DISPLAY CONTROL HEAD, FRONT SECTION .

-- Remove the center console. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Remove the driver footwell vent. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT .

-- Remove the nuts -1- (9 Nm).

-- Remove the bolts -4- (9 Nm), and then remove the bracket -5- from the heater and A/C unit -2- and from instrument panel cross member -3-.

-- Push the catch -5- on the display control head rear section -4- to the side and remove the release cable -3- from out of the retainer and the adjusting lever.

-- Release the release cable bracket -2- -arrows- and remove it from the heater and A/C unit retainer.

-- Remove the release cable -3- from the retainers -6- on the heater and A/C unit.

-- Remove the ball -1- on the release cable -3- from the adjusting lever -7-.

-- Carefully remove the release cable -3- in the direction of the left footwell.
