Flexible Air Distribution Shaft: Removing

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Move the flexible shaft in to the following position:
- Turn the knob for air distribution -4- until the locking mechanism -arrow a- on the flexible shaft -1- is visible in the set-up gear -2-.
-- Release the locking mechanism -arrow a- on the flexible shaft -1- with a small screwdriver and remove the shaft from the set-up gear -2-.
-- Release the locking mechanism -arrow b- on the flexible shaft -1- and remove the shaft from the display control head -3-.
