Abs Mark 60 Ed, Abs, Eds, ASR And Esp, Vehicles With Electro-Magnetic Power Steering

- Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module -J104-
- Component location: on the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- inside the engine compartment on the right side.
- Do not disconnect connector before successfully completing On Board Diagnostic (OBD). Turn off the ignition before disconnecting the connector.
The following components are integrated inside the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module -J104- :
- Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200-
- Rotation Rate Sensor -G202-
- Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251- (depending on vehicle equipment)
- Removing and installing. Refer to ABS Control Module -J104- /ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- .
- Disconnecting from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-. Refer to ABS Control Module -J104-, DISCONNECTING FROM ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, ABS MARK 60 EC .
- ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-
- Installed location: inside the engine compartment on the right side
The ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- consists of the following components:
- Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Hydraulic Pump -V64-
- Brake Pressure Sensor 1 -G201-
- Valve block (contains inlet and outlet valves)
- The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Hydraulic Pump -V64- and valve block must not be separated from one another.
- Removing and installing. Refer to ABS Control Module -J104- /ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- .
- Disconnecting from the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module -J104-. Refer to ABS Control Module -J104-, DISCONNECTING FROM ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, ABS MARK 60 EC .
- Installed location: inside the engine compartment on the right side
- ASR/ESP Indicator Lamp 2 -K216-
- Component location: inside the instrument cluster
- Malfunctions displayed by warning lamps. Refer to ABS MARK 60 ED, ABS, EDS, ASR AND ESP, VEHICLES WITH ELECTRO-MAGNETIC POWER STEERING, USA AND CANADA .
- ASR/ESP Indicator Lamp -K155-
- Only on vehicles with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)/EDL/ASR/ESP
- Component location: inside the instrument cluster

- Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Indicator Lamp -K47-
- Component location: inside the instrument cluster

- Brake Pad Wear Indicator Lamp -K32-
- Component location: inside the instrument cluster
- Malfunctions displayed by warning lamps. Refer to ABS MARK 60 ED, ABS, EDS, ASR AND ESP, VEHICLES WITH ELECTRO-MAGNETIC POWER STEERING, USA AND CANADA .
- Brake System Indicator Lamp -K118-
- Component location: inside the instrument cluster
- Malfunctions displayed by warning lamps. Refer to ABS MARK 60 ED, ABS, EDS, ASR AND ESP, VEHICLES WITH ELECTRO-MAGNETIC POWER STEERING, USA AND CANADA .
- Diagnostic Connection
- Component location: driver side footwell cover
- Steering Gear
- with Steering Angle Sensor -G85-
- Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester for the Steering Angle Sensor -G85- fault diagnostics

- Removing and Installing. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Rear Speed Sensor --
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT/LEFT REAR ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G44- / -G46- .
- Rear Wheel Bearing Unit
- The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing
- Front Wheel Bearing Unit
- The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing
- Front Speed Sensor --
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT/LEFT FRONT ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G45- / -G47- .
- Brake Lamp Switch -F-
- Including the Brake Pedal Switch -F47-
- Installed location: on the master brake cylinder
- Removing and installing. Refer to BRAKE LAMP SWITCH .
