Engine, Securing On Engine And Transmission Holder: Procedure

-- Disconnect the transmission from the engine (vehicles with manual transmission), refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING, MANUAL TRANSMISSION .

-- Disconnect the transmission from the engine (vehicles with DSG transmission), refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING, DSG TRANSMISSION .

-- Engage Engine Sling 3033 as follows and lift out using Workshop Crane VAS 6100 from Engine-Transmission Jack V.A.G 1383 A.

Flywheel side: Position -4-.

Vibration damper side: position -8-.

-- Secure the engine to the Engine And Transmission Holder VAS 6095/1 with the Universal Mounting VAS 6095.
